Stashr is a simple file sharing service that allows you to upload files and share them with others. Upload your files, receive a unique link, and share that link with anyone. Files are stored securely in the cloud and can be accessed anytime.

No registration required! Stashr is completely anonymous. Just visit the site, upload your file, and share the link. It's that simple.

Most common file types are supported including documents, images, videos, audio files, archives, and code files. However, certain file types are restricted for security and legal compliance reasons.

For security and legal compliance, we restrict certain file types that are commonly associated with malware, viruses, or malicious software. Prohibited file extensions include:

This restriction helps protect all users from accidentally downloading or sharing malicious files. If you need to share these file types for legitimate purposes, consider placing them in a archive.

Unfortunately, we cannot recover lost links since uploads are anonymous and we don't store user accounts. Make sure to save your links in a safe place or bookmark them in your browser. Consider using the QR code feature to easily share and save your links.

Yes! You can share the same file link with as many people as you want. The link remains valid until it expires (if you set an expiration) or reaches its download limit (if configured).

Upload & Storage

You can upload files up to 500MB. Files larger than 15MB are automatically split into smaller chunks for optimal transfer. When you download the file, all chunks are automatically merged back into the original file. This process is completely transparent and requires no action from you.

Files are stored permanently by default, but you can set custom expiration times (1 hour to 30 days) when uploading. You can also set download limits to automatically expire files after a certain number of downloads. This gives you full control over your file's lifetime.

To prevent abuse, we have rate limits: 20 uploads per 15 minutes, 50 per hour, and 200 per day from the same IP address. These limits are generous for normal usage. If you need higher limits for legitimate use, please contact support.

Since uploads are anonymous, there's no built-in delete function. However, you can set an expiration time or download limit when uploading. If you need to remove a file urgently, use the "Report Abuse" feature on the file's info page.

If you use the short URL feature, you can see the total number of downloads on the file info page. However, we don't track individual downloaders or their personal information to protect everyone's privacy.

When your file reaches its expiration date or download limit, the link will no longer work. Anyone trying to access it will see a "File Expired" message. The file is automatically removed from our servers.

Yes! You can upload up to 5 files at once. When you select multiple files (up to 5), they are automatically combined into a ZIP archive and uploaded as a single file. This makes it easy to share multiple files with just one link.

Security & Privacy

Yes! All transfers are encrypted via HTTPS. You can add password protection to your files for extra security. We don't require registration, so your uploads are anonymous. Files are stored on secure servers with industry-standard encryption.

Absolutely! When uploading, simply enable password protection and set your password. Recipients will need to enter the correct password before they can download the file. This adds an extra layer of security for sensitive files.

Stashr strictly prohibits: child sexual abuse material (CSAM), malware or viruses, copyrighted content (pirated movies, games, software), illegal content, and files that violate privacy laws. Violating these rules will result in immediate removal of your files and permanent IP blacklisting. Please use Stashr responsibly.

Reported files are reviewed by our team within 24-48 hours. If a file violates our terms of service, it will be removed immediately and the uploader's IP address may be permanently blocked from future uploads. We take abuse reports seriously to keep Stashr safe for everyone.

No. Your IP address is never shared with downloaders. We only use it internally for rate limiting and abuse prevention. Your uploads remain anonymous to everyone except our security systems.

On any file's info page, you'll find a "Report Abuse" button at the bottom. Click it to submit a report. You can specify the reason for reporting (illegal content, malware, copyright violation, etc.). Our team will review it promptly.

We don't automatically scan files for viruses. Always be cautious when downloading files from unknown sources. Use antivirus software on your device and only download files from people you trust.
